The laboratory developed China's first full-access multi-energy complementary intelligent power supply system which is able to serve megawatt-class ocean energy equipment with its intelligent access and stable output. It can monitor ocean energy equipment and evaluate its key performance such as hydrodynamic performance and power output performance. The lab also set up an air turbine steady performance testing platform, perfected the technology for hydraulic physical model test of ocean energy equipment and formulated a standard program for comprehensive test of wave energy equipment and tidal current energy equipment.
