National Marine Equipment Quality Inspection Center (hereinafter referred to as NMEI Center) is a national testing center identified in “The Development Plan for Shandong Peninsula Blue Economic Zone” issued by the State Council as a support for the marine equipment industry. As the only comprehensive third-party public service platform for marine equipment inspection and testing in China, it is located in the core zone of the Qingdao Oceanic Valley, covering an area of 71,800 square meters, boasting 8 laboratory buildings and 7 major function labs with a total investment of 1.1 billion yuan. NMEI Center provides high quality professional solutions for products and equipment throughout their whole life cycle in terms of design and development, production and manufacturing, operation and maintenance. NMEI Center has seven domestically leading laboratories for the testing of subsea equipment, marine electricity, marine cables, new energy power electronics, electromagnetic compatibility, environment and reliability and material analysis.
