The laboratory established a model to numerically simulate the actual working conditions of marine electrical equipment under the action of waves, and obtained the motion response of the electrical equipment under the basic environmental conditions. The motion response obtained then was used as the input parameters for simulation vibration test of the performance of the electrical equipment. The lab also developed methods for the motion state equivalence analysis and the thermal stability detection for electrical equipment under the action of real waves.
